What are you doing all this hard work for?
If you're like me, you spend time thinking about how the work you do now will impact those that come after you. It could be your kids, your spouse, your grandkids or even your grandkids grandkids.
But what about you? What do you want retirement to look like?
I'm guilty of talking returns, risks and opportunities too much at times, which some of you will know! With this said, I always try and keep myself in check to remember what it is all about, that it's equally important to have something to look forward to in retirement. To put the "fun" back into "funds."
We'll never
take our eyes off the hard numbers. That's our job. But it's also our job to remind everyone (yes, even ourselves) of the fun that we can have when we do that hard stuff first.
